A few practical changes creates a fresh, new design.

12 Dec A few practical changes creates a fresh, new design.

After eight years showcased as a Mediterranean style home, Paul Homes’ signature model, The Majestic, has now taken on a new, fresh identity, befittingly described as Coastal Transitional. Bob Knight, President, describes the 8-week renovation process: “This was a massive change. We knew we needed to modernize this home to reflect what most of our clients are looking for – an authentic Florida design with new cabinets, appliances, furniture and accessories.”

Here are a few highlights of how Paul Homes took something with a little bit of age and transformed it to a more modern look:

-Pillars and an archway leading from the foyer to the family room were removed.
-Created modern straight corners on the walls from the previous rounded corners.
-The tile in the main areas were replaced with 18″ new ceramic tile.
-New LED lighting throughout.
-Tropical, resort-style furniture and accessories replaced out-of-date furniture pieces.
-A larger granite island with full back bar stools in the kitchen.
-Installation of new cabinets and stainless-steel appliances.
-Addition of a small drop zone by the garage door entrance.
-New 8’ doors leading to the master bathroom.
-A freestanding soaking tub and square-shaped sinks in the master bath.
-A trendy concrete table and benches complement the outdoor living area.

The three-bedroom, two-bath home has a three-car garage and spans 2,307 square feet under air and 3,409 square feet of total living space. The open concept floor plan has always been well-received, and the new tropical interior design reflects the lifestyle their clients desire.  See the full gallery here.
