The Majestic model is now open for business. The first new Paul Homes model in more than four years, is drawing rave reviews from prospective customers according to Gary Paul. “Today’s buyers are demanding a higher level of both quality and sophistication
than ever before and this home delivers,” says Gary Paul, president of Paul Homes. “The Majestic represents an evolution in design for us. We still have high ceilings, spacious rooms and an orientation to the outdoors, but we’ve added striking architectural details to both the exterior and interior, along with additional storage, a three-car garage, and more “green” living features.”

What gives a company the staying power to last through the worst economic downturn in recent memory? It’s our people. Our staff and our customers have kept us building strong while many other builders have ceased to operate.

When you look at the Paul Homes team, you see longevity. Everyone on our staff has been with the company for at least five years, and many have been with Paul Homes for well over a decade. These construction industry professionals know how to make things work when we are exceptionally busy – keeping track of the workflow and scheduling our subcontractors and suppliers so that the work gets done promptly. But even more important than keeping things running when times are good, is their ability to help us tighten our belts when times get tough, without ever sacrificing quality.

Ultimately, it is you, our customers who are responsible for our success. We deeply appreciate the trust that our customers have placed in Paul Homes to build homes that are as durable as they are beautiful. We thank you for your continued faith in us!

All Paul Homes feature spacious lanais with pools. These outdoor spaces expand the actual living area in your home. One option that many people want in their Florida home is a “Summer Kitchen;” a space for outdoor cooking. At Paul Homes, we recognize the value of an outdoor kitchen. Generally, we keep these areas relatively small, an adjunct to the main food prep area just a few feet away. If you are interested in adding a summer kitchen to your pool deck, ask your sales representative about the many options available to you.

Back in the heyday of the Southwest Florida building boom, all a builder had to do was throw up a shingle, set up a model and the buyers came. As we all know, they came in droves, from the Northeast and Midwest, from Florida’s East Coast, from Europe and Latin America. Getting buyers in the door was never a problem, nor did it take much effort to get those buyers to sign on the dotted line.

The recession changed all that, and I like to think that in the long run, the changes will benefit all of us. Now, it takes hard work to do what was once effortless. What have we learned over the past three years? First, quality counts. When you build something to last, it shows. And, in today’s housing market, it has to show.

Experience counts. For a time, there was a builder on every corner (and half a dozen in between). Today, the landscape has changed. There are still builders out there, but most of them have been in this Southwest Florida community for many years. Their reputations have contributed to their survival. Management counts. Reputation alone won’t keep anyone in business. Knowing how to manage your assets – personnel as well as financial – is another key to longterm success. Customer Service counts. When you take care of your customers, they take care of you. At Paul Homes we believe that our service before, during and after the sale is almost as important as the quality we build into our homes. We are here to make your home as perfect as possible.

From our perspective, none of this is new or news – this is the way we have always conducted our business, and the way Gary and I intend to continue conducting this business for many years into the future.

Exceptional indoor air quality in a home that costs less to heat and cool.

Consumers have found that replacing an electric appliance with a propane one often saves up to 50% on the energy used to run that appliance. And, nearly every appliance in your home can run on propane – water, space and pool heaters, stoves, clothing dryers, fireplaces and generators can all run on T propane. If you are seeking a cost effective alternative to electric appliances, Paul Homes can help by providing LP options for your new home.

The effects of the recession on Southwest Florida have been profound. Yet it is possible to draw something positive from the economic downturn. Land and material prices are cheaper than they have been in years. So, if you’re thinking about building, the time really is right.

The labor market is another bonus for buyers. In the past, we were competing with every other builder in a busy marketplace for a small pool of highly skilled laborers. The construction slowdown now means that labor is more accessible than before. Our jobs are getting built faster, and the quality of workmanship going into our homes is as good, if not better than ever.

If building a home has been a dream that you’ve been putting off, now is the time to make that dream a reality. At Paul Homes, we look forward to meeting with you to discuss making your dream home a reality.
