Communication is the key to any successful building project. BuilderTrend, is a tool being used by Cape Coral home builder Paul Homes improving customer communication between us and our clients. When you sign a contract with Paul Homes, you are given access to a private web page through BuiderTrend.

“The client portal is a way to streamline communication and ensure that we are always on the same page,” says Paul Homes President, Bob Knight. “Your client portal is the place where you can see progress photos of your home, as well as the next month’s building schedule. Our superintendents complete logs each time they are on a job site, detailing the work that is taking place. All documents related to the job are housed within the portal. Need to make a change? Change orders can be created, priced and signed off on, all within the portal.”

Also available through the portal is a snapshot of the Southwest Florida weather and an up-to-date project cost summary.

When you are on the go, BuilderTrend offers a mobile app that allows all parties to access the portal from any mobile device. Superintendents in the field add photos and comments and customers can access their portal when out and about, sharing job progress with their friends and family.

When the job is complete, the portal is remains active, allowing homeowners to access their warranty information. They can also share their thoughts on the building process via surveys posted to the site. The surveys allow customers to provide feedback to help us improve.
