24 Feb Cape Coral Builder Paul Homes Develops Selection Workflow
Building a new home requires a host of decisions. Those decisions begin with choosing a builder, choosing a model and making changes to personalize your home. Cape Coral home builder Paul Homes knows that the decision making process can be intimidating. Added to the stress that accompanies most building projects, the Paul Homes staff is accustomed to working with home buyers who are not in residence during the home construction process. For Paul Homes buyers, the process begins in our model/idea center. Here buyers can view photos of other Paul Homes, to inspire them in the design process. That’s why Paul Homes Developed Selection Workflow to help customers make these decisions.
“To simplify the post-purchase decision-making process, we’ve created a workflow that allows our customers to make all of their major decisions during a condensed period of time,” Paul Homes principal Bob Knight explains. “We set aside several days where we schedule appointments with each of the different teams associated with the home. Often, the sales associate who worked with the buyers on their home purchase, accompanies them as they make the rounds.”
The design staff at Interiors by Patricia works with all Paul Homes buyers, assisting in the selection of cabinets, countertops, flooring tile, carpet and paint colors. Once the finishes have been selected, Paul Homes buyers work with the pool contractor and the landscaping contractor.
One recent homebuyer describes the process from her perspective. “When it was time to make our selections, they made the appointments and we went from one place to another. That process was one of the most fun things. You got to really plan your house the way you wanted it. Those three days of dealing with all the vendors – that’s not my husband’s cup of tea, but he enjoyed it.”
